National Merchandise, a division of the Nottingham Ice Centre Limited, work in some of the UK’s biggest venues, the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, The O2 London, AO Manchester, OVO Hydro Glasgow, M&S Bank Liverpool, 3 Arena Dublin and SSE Arena Belfast to name a few.

 

In addition to the work we do in venues we also work with some of the biggest festival organisers in the world bringing merchandise to music and entertainment fans at events that include Download, BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Isle of Wight, British Summer Time, Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, Electric Picnic, Leeds & Reading festivals and many more.

 

We are looking for a Retail Manager to manage our merchandise store in Dublin.

 

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Retail Manager will undertake the strategic development and management of the Pittsburgh Steelers Pro Store in Dublin City Centre, and through motivation and effective use of staff to deliver a world class quality service to customers whilst achieving required revenue targets. The Retail Manager will lead on all stock purchasing, staffing, operations, activations

 

Key Duties Include:

· Overall responsibility for all aspects of staffing, stock control, stocktaking, deliveries and reordering of products for Europe’s first and only Steelers Pro Store.

 

· Regular liaison with the Sales manager to ensure correct stock levels and range are maintained.

 

· All reporting of daily, weekly and monthly sales figures, forecasts and other reporting as required by the Sales Manager.

 

The ideal applicant will have previous experience of working within a similar role.

 

They will have good knowledge of merchandising and stock control and the ability to maintain good stock levels at all times.

 

With strong communication skills, both written and verbal the ideal candidate will have strong numerical skills and financial acumen with previous experience of managing budgets.

 

A team player with good supervision skills, they will be IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Excel.

 

Due to the responsibilities within this role, the successful applicant needs to have the flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays, often working in excess of their contracted hours.
