The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy and sport, with a seating capacity of up to 10,000, we are one of the most versatile entertainment venues in the UK.

 

The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends and Dancing on Ice stars, Torvill & Dean, the National Ice Centre is Nottingham’s hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey.   We are the home of the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and host around 30 games a year.

 

2025 is a bumper year for our venue with us welcoming Peter Kay, Kylie, Strictly Come Dancing, Craig David, Mo Gilligan, Olly Murs, Diana Ross and the 50th Anniversary Tour of Torvill & Dean to name a few. 

 

We are currently recruiting for Food & Beverage Supervisors to work across all Food & Beverage Areas.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: 

  • Supervising F&B teams throughout the venue ensuring staff welfare & breaks
  • Overseeing and ensuring a smooth running of the area assigned for the shift
  • Coaching and mentoring staff regarding F&B and customer service
  • Ensuring that day to day SOP’s are adhered to
  • Ensuring stock is replenished, shelves are full, and merchandising is in place in accordance with company standards
  • Delivering excellent customer service while dealing with a diverse range of customers
  • Ensuring food hygiene, health & safety standards are maintained in all working areas
  • Ensuring F&B team carry out all till functions correctly, ensuring accuracy of cash, credit card and other transactions are completed in line with company procedures.
  • Maximizing sales opportunities and ensure customer choice & value is enhanced by offering up-sell products and promotions

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:  

  • Comfortable & confident in dealing with customers
  • Friendly and lively personality, polite and well presented
  • Team player, with good time management skills
  • Able to work well in a busy environment and under pressure
  • Awareness of food and hygiene standards
  • Experience working in a similar setting is essential
  • Confidence in cash handling and the use of tills is essential
  • Experience in a supervisory role is essential
  • The desire to work in a live music and events venue is preferred
