Who are we?
National Merchandise offers a wide range of services including Merchandise Development, Venue Merchandise Sales Management and Live Event Merchandise Sales.
We manage the venue merchandising teams for the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, Wolverhampton Civic Hall, Utilita Arena Birmingham, BP Pulse Live Arena Birmingham, Utilita Arena Sheffield, O2 London, Glasgow SSE Hydro Arena, Liverpool's Echo Arena amongst other venues; In addition, we manage merchandise concessions for both one-off and multi-date festivals/events and merchandise sales at live events across live venues around the UK.
No event is too large or too small for National Merchandise! We cover all level of events from a small programme sporting event to a large stadium concert merchandise event.
The Role
The Stock Controller’s primary objective is to provide control of our stock profile, ensuring that procedures are maintained and followed by all business units to minimise the risk that the profile presents to the business.
Working with the Merchandise Manager the Stock Controller will be responsible for the event load in, stand distribution and the return of stock whilst assisting with the in-house stock control system.
You will monitor stock levels and liaise with the visiting merchandise companies, preparing merchandise displays throughout our venues.
On days when there are no events you will ensure the maintenance and logging of arena and festival equipment across the stock room, stands, cage area and any other storage locations. You will assist with pre-event planning whilst carrying out regular stock checks.
With experience in a similar role the ideal candidate will have good administration skills with excellent attention to detail. They will have excellent communications skills both written and oral and the ability to converse with customers and staff of all levels.
