We are the Motorpoint Arena & National Ice Centre, Nottingham. The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands with a crowd capacity of 10,000. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment and sport, we host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year. Home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, where they play 30+ home league & cups games each season.
With an adaptable restaurant space that can host parties & networking for up to 200 people & seated dinners for up to 120, and 45 hospitality suites, it means that no two days are the same.

To plan and run both restaurants and suites on event days

Manage stock levels and rotation, liaise with F&B management to ensure adequate stock levels

To maintain a positive work environment for staff

Ensure customers in your areas are satisfied with the service they have received

Keep all areas clean and tidy day to day

Working with the staffing team to ensure adequate staff levels across all areas and all staff are trained to a high level

Work with the HOM to enhance the service within your designated areas

Work closely with the hospitality sales team

Work closely with the chefs

Understand all laws relating to your areas (licencing, food safety and health and safety)

Ensure menus are correct and suitable to the customers attending, working with F&B management to offer event night specials based on customer profile

Resolve all customer complaints to ensure a satisfactory outcome
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Deliver the highest standard of service within all restaurants and suite areas
-
Supervise and motivate members of the team including briefing of staff on event day and running all areas of the department

Lead and co-ordinate the setup of rooms, suites and restaurants for service

Maintain high standards in all areas of hospitality

In the absence of the HOM be able to maintain the consistency of the department

Work with the hospitality sales team to understand hospitality guest attendance of the event and work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to manage a day-to-day operation

Ensuring that their team remains polite and courteous to our customers whilst working under pressure

Responsible for the meeting of customers who are attending events

Making sure stock take is completed accurately

Work alongside the HOM develop the team and recruit to expand the team

To ensure that they and the team, understand their responsibilities in relation to the sale of age restricted products including: Selling alcohol to a person under 18 years of age Selling cigars and vape products The sale of monster and other energy drinks
