Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for a talented, in-house Digital Creative Assistant to sit within our Digital Creative team to help deliver and maintain the various digital projects and creative campaigns for National Merchandise.
The primary objective is to maintain and produce content and for National Merchandise’s client webstores, social media platforms, advertisements, digital presentations, and signage. In this role you will report to our Digital Creative Lead whilst working closely with our Digital Creative Executive to undertake a range of content creation, design related work and general e-commerce website maintenance.
- Develop and design final artwork for use on our webstores, social media platforms, digital screens and other mediums such as packaging, print, signage, and merchandise.
- Research and use your design experience to guide design development for relevant platforms.
- Assist with the production of photoshoots for National Merchandise such as planning, location scouting and liaising with models, photographers, and MUA.
- Updating webstores with new product content layouts and collection banners including the development of new product imagery.
- Create graphics for website design projects ready for client campaign launches. These include slideshows, collection banners and email assets.
- Reach out to prospects and industry professionals/influencers/models via social media to create a strong creative network for National Merchandise.
- Support content creation for National Merchandise campaigns such as preparing photo shoots, props and studio lighting support.
- Ensure all creative briefs are delivered in a timely manner and to a high standard while pushing boundaries on the creative visuals.
- Support the delivery of digital projects for various events and festivals such as click and collect activations.
- Day to day e-commerce product creation and organising product categories including website content auditing and supporting the creation and development of new webstores
Qualifications
- At least 1 year experience in a similar role or hold a degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
- Detailed knowledge of digital and print design including basic knowledge of web design and will have the ability to take ownership of creative design briefs.
- A keen interest in graphic design, e-commerce, digital design and keeping up to date with trends in design and design programmes.
- A competent user of Adobe Creative Software such as Photoshop and InDesign.
- Experience in eCommerce platforms and CMS systems and an understanding of mobile design and device optimisation.
- A pro-active attitude in demonstrating ways to constantly improve customer experience.
- A motivated and enthusiastic self-starter with excellent time management skills.
- Will have the ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
