The National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham are looking to expand our Event Management Team to work at the East Midlands’ biggest entertainment venue.
Our Event Managers support the Head of Arena Operations in the safe and effective planning and delivery of all events held at our venue.
Event Managers are responsible for overseeing and owning all aspects of the event process, acting as the main point of contact across a range of activities, departments, and external clients.
By building strong relationships with event promotor representatives and touring crew during event periods and undertaking all operational and administrative tasks associated with the event our Event Management Team ensure the effective delivery of each event.
With either qualifications in Event Management, IOSHH Managing Safely, First Aid and NEBOSH or extensive industry experience the ideal candidates will also hold an SIA Door Supervisor qualification or be working towards this.
With previous experience of event management in a similar venue, they will have experience of working with a diverse range of staff and contractors, managing budgets, and using CAD (or equivalent) with the ability to interpret technical plans and layouts.
An excellent communicator, they will have the ability to provide first class customer service while under pressure and to build effective relationships with staff, public, customers, and contractors.
Due to the diverse nature of our business The Event Management Team will need to have the ability to work flexibly, especially evenings and weekends.
