Who Are We?

We are the Nottingham Ice Centre Ltd (National Ice Centre & Motorpoint Arena, Nottingham).

 

The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands with 2 Olympic sized ice pads, one of which converts to become an arena with a crowd capacity of 10,000.

 

At our venue we showcase the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment, and sport. We host over 100 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors each year.

 

We are also home to the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey Team, who play 30+ home league & cups games each season.

 

We are the head office for National Catering and National Merchandise who offer event and venue services across the UK and Ireland, including London, Dublin, Belfast, Liverpool, Nottingham, Birmingham, Coventry, and Glasgow. 

 

In addition, our Events Crowd Management Team (ECM) offer security and stewarding services to our venue, external venues plus outdoor events and festivals.

Who Are We Looking For?

SIA Door Supervisors

Our Events Crowd Management team (ECM) are looking to recruit casual SIA Door Supervisors for the heavy metal Bloodstock Open Air Festival which is taking place between Thursday 8th and Sunday 11th August 2024 at Catton Hall & Park in Derbyshire (DE12 8LN).

Delivering a variety of security & stewarding tasks, the SIA Door Supervisors will ensure the highest standards of safety and service to our clients and customers.

Our SIA Door Supervisors will act as the first point of contact for our customers at the festival and support the Head of Security & Stewarding and wider Event Team in the resolution of operational issues.

Having worked within a similar role, you will hold a current, valid SIA Door Supervisor licence.  Previous experience of working in Event Security would be an advantage.

Experience of dealing successfully with difficult customers, including challenging situations and ejections, you will have the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment.  A team player, you will have exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Due to the nature of the event, you will be flexible in your approach to work, with ability to work during the evening and weekend.
