National Catering are looking to recruit Kitchen Porters to work at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham City Centre on a zero-hour, casual basis.
Reporting to our Executive Chef you will help keep our busy kitchens clean, safe, and functional during day-to-day operations and events. You will be responsible for ensuring the kitchen staff can ‘clean as they go’ by collecting and washing pot, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
The Kitchen Porter will also ensure all deliveries are accurately and safely received, checked and that all food is stored correctly.
With previous experience of working in a high-volume catering environment, you will have a good knowledge of Health & Safety procedures. You will enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Your shift pattern will be based around our events calendar so you will be expected to work some evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
