Assistant Event Managers
The National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham are looking to expand our Event Management Team, to work at the East Midlands’ biggest entertainment venue.
Our Assistant Event Managers support the Head of Arena Operations in the safe and effective planning and delivery of all events held at our venue.
Assistant Event Managers are responsible for overseeing and owning all aspects of the event process, acting as the main point of contact across a range of activities, departments, and external clients, including the front of house event night management.
By building strong relationships with event promotor representatives and touring crew during event periods and undertaking all operational and administrative tasks associated with the event, our Event Management Team ensure the effective delivery of each event.
With a passion for events and an understanding of Health and Safety the ideal candidates will be willing to work towards job specific qualifications to support an event management degree or event qualification.
An excellent communicator, they will have the ability to provide first class customer service while under pressure and to build effective relationships with staff, public, customers, and contractors.
Due to the diverse nature of our business The Event Management Team will need to have the ability to work flexibly, especially evenings and weekends.
