CELLAR OPERATIVE
We are currently looking for Cellar Operatives who will be responsible for ensuring excellence is delivered across all catering & retail areas of our venue which includes the concourse bars, pop-up mobile units, floor bars, T&D's Café, hospitality bars & Saltbox.

We are the Motorpoint Arena & National Ice Centre, Nottingham. The largest entertainment venue in the East Midlands and home to the Nottingham Panthers. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment, and sport, the arena hosts over 150 events and welcomes 800,000+ visitors through our doors every year.

WHAT ARE THE KEY DUTIES?
- Ensuring that a systematic approach is used to control the general maintenance & cleanliness of the cellar, storerooms & service access areas.
- Ensuring that regular safety checks of cellar, retail & bar equipment are carried out & recorded with defects or faults reported.
- Complying with Company & statutory regulations relating to safe systems of work, health & safety, hygiene, cleanliness, fire & COSHH.
- Performing line-cleans.
- Maintaining & delivering the venue standard operation procedures.
- Adhering to all legislation on licensing, trading standards, weights & measures.
- Being vigilant about building safety & the people within it.
- Dealing with deliveries and making sure stock control measures are in place.
- Setting up bars before events.
- Helping to put away dry stock deliveries when needed.
- Supporting stock checks around the venue.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety, COSHH & cellar procedures is essential
- High-volume catering environment experience is essential
- Microsoft Office experience is desirable
- People Skills, Excellent communication skills, both written and oral is essential
- Previous experience in motivating peers within your team is desirable
- Someone with good availability as events can be 7 days a week
- Ability to challenge discriminatory behaviour & demonstrate awareness of equality issues is essential
