We are a vibrant, 10,000 seat live entertainment venue in the heart of Nottingham hosting world-class shows across music, comedy, family, arts, and sports. From Kylie to Peter Kay, to Disney, to Panthers ice hockey and Forest Netball – no two days are the same.
Our sister venue is the National Ice Centre, where our community comes together for ice sports across figure, synchro and speed skating, plus ice hockey. Whether you're a family enjoying skating for fun, or a budding professional gliding in the footsteps our local heroes Torvill and Dean, we provide the UK's best ice sports experience.
We welcome over one million people a year from all walks of life and our facilities team is responsible for ensuring that our venue looks it’s best from the start to the end of their experience, encouraging them to visit again, and finding new audiences to enjoy our shows.
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Engineer with an Electrical bias to join one of the UK’s most dynamic operational environments, someone who has the passion and determination to continually improve how our venue is presented, delivered and successfully maintained.
Our team of Multi Skilled Engineers are responsible for our permanent and temporary electrical installations and their maintenance.
They ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and deliver on general (non-electrical) reactive and PPM tasks as required.
In addition, they manage the technical delivery of Panthers matches and our events.
This is the perfect opportunity for an electrically qualified fan of live sports and entertainment – someone who is either apprentice trained or has an equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualification in electricals. They must be 17th/18th edition qualified and must have had experience in a similar, multi discipline role.
Experience of A/V systems, managing people and operating a BMS would all be an advantage.
An excellent communicator they will be physically fit and able to undertake manual labour.
Flexibility is key for our venue…… hours will include late nights, weekends and bank holidays.
