The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment and sport, we host over 150 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors every year. 
 
The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. The NIC is Nottingham's hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey. We are the home of the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and host around 30 games a year. 

We are looking for energetic, outgoing, and customer-focused individuals to join our Arena Hype Team (Activation Team).

In this role, you will be the face of our brand at events and activations, engaging with customers, promoting products, and creating memorable experiences. You will play a key part in driving Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and partner brand awareness, increasing sales through upselling, and ensuring customers are informed about competitions, promotions, and giveaways.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Engage & Interact: Proactively approach and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Brand Representation: Act as an ambassador for our brand, ensuring a positive and consistent experience.

Upselling: Promote and upsell products to maximize sales opportunities.

Promotions & Competitions: Provide clear and accurate information about current promotions, competitions, and giveaways.

Demonstrations: Showcase products and explain features and benefits to customers.

Data Collection: Assist with gathering customer details for competitions, mailing lists, or follow-ups (in line with GDPR compliance).

Event Support: Help set up, maintain, and pack down activation areas, ensuring displays are attractive and functional.

Customer Feedback: Capture and report customer feedback to help improve future activations. Work closely with the Ice Sports Team to manage and respond to customer enquiries, ensuring all sales opportunity are maximised.

Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and event schedules as required.
