The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is the biggest entertainment venue in the East Midlands. Showcasing the biggest names in music, comedy, entertainment and sport, we host over 150 events and welcome 800,000+ visitors through our doors every year. 
 
The National Ice Centre (NIC) sits within the same complex. Made famous by Olympic legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean. The NIC is Nottingham's hub for all things ice skating and ice hockey. We are the home of the Nottingham Panthers Ice Hockey team and host around 30 games a year. 
 
We are currently looking for Food Assistants to join the existing kitchen team to continue to deliver our extensive food offering. Using fresh ingredients and cook to order products to facilitate our varied food offering in the concourse food outlets and at our onsite café, T&Ds, on both event and non-event days. The team ensure that food is of the highest quality and prepared to the Executive Chef's recipes to ensure a consistent customer experience. 
 
Previous experience of working in a professional kitchen within a high-volume catering environment would be an advantage but is not essential. An understanding of health and safety and COSHH procedures as well as holding a Food Safety Certificate at Level 2 would be desirable. 
 
You will be used to working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
 
Flexible shifts are available  to cover event nights but we are also interested in receiving applications from people that are able to work regular daytime hours Monday to Friday.
